The pattern is engraved, so the band stays perfectly flat.

Four pointed sparkles are cut at intervals into a fine band, catching light in short flashes as the hand turns rather than holding one steady shine. Run a finger over it and you feel almost nothing.

That flatness is what makes it such a good stacking ring. It sits tight against whatever is next to it instead of holding a gap, so three or four can be worn together without the pile looking bulky.

The detail is there when someone looks closely. From across a table it is simply a gold band.
