Small bursts are engraved at intervals around a slim band, shallow enough that the ring stays completely flat to the touch. Nothing catches, nothing protrudes, and the pattern only really appears when light hits it at the right angle.

Engraved detail wears differently to applied detail. It cannot snag on a jumper and it cannot be knocked loose, which makes this an easy one to put on and forget about.
