A signet, with the flat face left uneven.

The head is broad and rounded, and where a traditional signet would be polished smooth or engraved with initials, this one is dented and folded like something worked by hand. Light pools in the hollows instead of running clean across the surface.

Signet rings usually carry a certain formality. Taking the polish off removes it entirely, and what is left is a heavy, easy piece you can wear with anything.
