Gold, folded like fabric.

Each earring is a flat rectangular panel with a rippling surface worked across it, the edges left uneven so the outline waves rather than sitting square. The ripples catch light in long soft bands instead of hard points.

The effect is closer to draped cloth than to metal, which is unusual at this scale. Most textured jewellery works by adding sparkle. This works by adding movement.
