The rhythm is what makes this chain read differently to a plain one. Two oval links, then a round, then two ovals again, so the eye keeps finding a pattern instead of a repetition. The links are open and rounded rather than flattened, which gives the bracelet a little lift off the skin.

Chunky without being heavy, because the links are hollow rather than solid.
