The gold thickens dramatically as it comes round, so almost all the volume sits at the bottom of the hoop. That distribution is why these look so heavy and hang so straight, and it is also why they are far lighter on the ear than they appear.

Great for sensitive skin: 99.9% of people find they have no sensitivity to gold-covered jewellery. The outside of the piece is solid 18k gold, nickel and lead free. If you do not have any sensitivities to solid gold, you will find gold-covered agrees well with your skin.
