Each panel looks as though a flat sheet of gold has been pressed and creased, leaving deep folds running in no particular direction. Light collects in the hollows and breaks along the ridges, so the surface never sits still.

Deliberate imperfection is difficult to get right. Too little and it looks like a mistake, too much and it looks damaged. This sits in the narrow space between.

Great for sensitive skin: 99.9% of people find they have no sensitivity to gold-covered jewellery. The outside of the piece is solid 18k gold, nickel and lead free. If you do not have any sensitivities to solid gold, you will find gold-covered agrees well with your skin.
