Where the Zeni sits tight against the lobe, these open into a full curve that stands clear of the ear, so the spiral has room to run and catch light along its whole length. Still on a post rather than a latch, which keeps them light despite the size.

Twisted gold does something a smooth tube cannot. Every turn creates a highlight and a shadow, so the earring reads as busy even when it is completely still.
