A rounded U, thick the whole way through.

These hold an even weight from top to bottom rather than tapering, which is unusual. The curve is deep and the gold is generous, so they sit low and swing very little. Everything about them is smooth.

Chunky hoops have to get the width right or they stop being wearable. These are cut broad enough to have real presence and narrow enough to go on with a jumper.
